STELCO Complete Perfect Run as BML Book Quarter-Final Spot

The BML One Game Inter-Office Beach Handball Championship women's division continued with three important group-stage matches, as STELCO and BML confirmed their quarter-final places.
STELCO Cruise to Group C Victory
STELCO maintained their perfect record in Group C, defeating DHIRAAGU 2-0.
STELCO won the opening set 14-6 before sealing the match with a 25-16 victory in the second set.
Fathimath Lym Binth Yasir of STELCO was named Player of the Match.
The result gave STELCO three wins from three matches and six points, confirming their place in the quarter-finals as Group C winners.
DHIRAAGU's defeat ended their hopes of reaching the quarter-finals. They remain third in Group C and will have to wait for the final group match between HDC and MWSC to determine whether they retain third place.
BML Join Immigration in Group D Quarter-Finals
In Group D, BML defeated Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) 2-0.
BML took the first set 13-7 and followed it with a 16-9 victory in the second set.
Mariyam Ma'al Ali of BML was named Player of the Match.
The victory moved BML to four points, level with Immigration at the top of Group D. Immigration, however, have a game in hand. Both teams have already secured their places in the quarter-finals.
MPL's defeat ended their quarter-final hopes. They remain third in the group with two points and will wait for the result of the final Group D match between Immigration and FDC to determine their final position.
MOYSF Record First Win
In Group A, the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Fitness (MOYSF) recorded their first victory of the tournament, defeating MOEDTT 2-0.
MOYSF narrowly won both sets, taking the first 14-13 before edging the second 12-11.
Aishath Minha Mohamed of MOYSF was named Player of the Match.
MOYSF finished the group stage in third place, while MOEDTT ended their campaign at the bottom of the group after suffering their third consecutive defeat.
With the group stage approaching its conclusion, the remaining matches will determine the final quarter-finalists and group positions.
