HDC Top Group B as Men’s Quarter-Final Line-Up Confirmed

The BML One Game Inter-Office Beach Handball Championship men's division has completed its group-stage matches, with the top eight teams from the 11 participating sides advancing to the quarter-finals.
HDC Finish Group B on Top
In the final Group B match, HDC defeated MWSC 2-0 to finish top of the group.
HDC won the opening set 26-16 before edging the second set 18-17 to complete the victory.
Shaihaan Shaukath of HDC was named Player of the Match.
The victory gave HDC six points from three matches, securing first place in Group B.
MWSC finished third in their group but secured a quarter-final place as one of the two best third-placed teams. They were joined in the knockout stage by GAAFU, who also qualified as a best third-placed team.
BCC Secure Second Place in Group A
In Group A, BCC defeated MTCC 2-0 in a high-scoring encounter.
BCC won the first set 28-14 before producing another dominant performance to take the second set 32-18.
Mohamed Yashmu Ahmed of BCC was named Player of the Match.
The victory saw BCC finish second in Group A with four points from two matches, securing their place in the quarter-finals.
MTCC, however, missed out on the knockout stage. Despite finishing third in Group A, they fell behind GAAFU and MWSC in the race for the two best third-place qualification spots.
With the group stage now complete, the eight quarter-finalists will continue their battle for the championship title as the men's competition enters the knockout stage.
