Minister Rafiu Attends Raajje Super League Final as Felidhoo Take the Crown

Felidhoo have been crowned champions of the Raajje Super League Volleyball Championship 2026 after defeating Goidhoo in straight sets in a closely contested final.

The final was attended by Minister of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Fitness Abdulla Rafiu, who later presented the championship trophy and medals to the victorious Felidhoo team.

Felidhoo started strongly, winning the opening set 25-21. They then made the second set look more comfortable, taking it 25-16 to move within one set of the championship.

Goidhoo responded with a much stronger challenge in the third set, pushing Felidhoo all the way. However, Felidhoo held their nerve in the decisive moments to secure a 25-23 victory and complete the straight-sets triumph.

Both Felidhoo and Goidhoo reached the final unbeaten throughout the competition, setting up a clash between two of the tournament's strongest sides.

Goidhoo booked their place in the final after a 3-0 victory over L. Fonadhoo in the semi-final, while Felidhoo defeated Th. Hirilandhoo 3-0 to earn their place in the title decider.

The Raajje Super League Volleyball Championship was held from 3 to 9 August 2026 at the Social Centre Indoor Hall in Malé, bringing the competition to a close with Felidhoo lifting the championship trophy.
